Kerman & Co advise Bestway on the acquisition of Sher Brothers (Cash & Carries) Limited

Kerman & Co acted for long standing client, Bestway, one of the UK’s largest independent food wholesalers, on the acquisition of Sher Brothers (Cash & Carries) Limited.
The deal was completed on 3rd April and sees Sher Brothers (Cash & Carries) Limited integrated into the Batleys Scotland division of Bestway Group. Operating from a property in the heart of Glasgow, the site will be rebranded under the dual Bestway Batleys branding. This acquisition brings the total number of depots trading under the Batleys Scotland umbrella to 8, in addition to a further 20 Batleys depots nationally, which includes 3 pet warehouses. These are complemented by 35 Bestway depots bringing Bestway Group’s total branch footprint to 63 depots nationwide.
