Nick Bitel is known as one of the best sports lawyers in Britain today. He has an impressive track record in complex litigation and has lectured on Sports Law at universities across the country. He is also the Chief Executive of the London Marathon and a Board Member of the London Legacy Development Corporation, Sport England and London Community Sports Board. He is currently the Chairman of the Sports Rights Owners Coalition, which represents over 45 of the world’s leading sports governing bodies and rights owners. Nick has been identified as a Notable Practitioner in the Chambers & Partners 2012 directory and a very good lawyer in Legal500 2012 Edition. Most recently Nick acted on behalf of the rights holder, the RFU, in obtaining a landmark ruling against a ticket exchange website. The ticket exchange website’s appeal went to The Supreme Court and was unanimously dismissed.
