Asad specialises in capital market transactions including IPOs, placings and secondary listings with a particular focus in the natural resource sector. Asad also has considerable experience in corporate and project finance transactions including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, management buyouts and corporation reorganisations. Having completed his economics and finance degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Asad returned to his native Pakistan to read and practice law. In Pakistan, he represented numerous big ticket clients based in the Middle East, Europe and the United States. On his return to the UK, Asad qualified as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England & Wales and joined Kerman & Co in 2010. He has also been called to the Bar in England & Wales and is an advocate of the High Courts of Pakistan.
