Admission to AIM
Cordillera Resources, the London-based mineral mining investment company, has raised 1.5 million after completing its admission to the Alternative Investment Market.
Management placed more than 210 million shares to raise the capital.
Law firm Kerman & Co provided legal advice to Cordillera. Partner Richard Stanton-Reid led the team and was assisted by Joan Yu.
The team, which has worked with members of Cordillera's management team on several successful deals, carried out pre-flotation and seed capital structuring, and handled the flotation and associated placing within a 10-week timescale.
Stanton-Reid believes the company's future is in good hands. It can be hard to differentiate between the numerous mining and oil and gas flotations that we've seen in the past 12 months, and the only way you can assess them is on their management, he said. These guys know what they are doing.
