Kerman & Co advises CloserStill on the acquisition of Powering the Cloud Conference and Exhibition

Kerman & Co acted for long standing client, CloserStill, who specialise in professional events chiefly in the healthcare and technology sectors, on the acquisition of Powering the Cloud Conference and Exhibition from Angel Business Communications.

Powering the Cloud serves the German-speaking cloud technology and infrastructure and storage markets, and combines a high level conference, wide-ranging hospitality and networking opportunities and an exhibition, and is held at Messe Frankfurt, Germany. Powering the Cloud is also sponsored and supported by the influential Storage Networking Industry Association Europe.

The acquisition complements CloserStill’s existing technology division, which includes Learning Technologies, the largest e-learning event in the world, Cloud Expo Europe, the multi award winning event in London, Data Centre World and sister events in Singapore, Cloud Expo Asia and Data Centre World Asia.

CloserStill chief executive Andy Center said “It is clear to everyone that the market for cloud is in commercial overdrive, powered by the geometric growth in demand due to a whole series of irreversible factors including the flexibility and savings now apparent to all.”

Concurrent with the completion of the acquisition, CloserStill also announced the launch of Data Centre World Frankfurt to run alongside Powering the Cloud.
