Prudential RideLondon enters agreement with Brompton Bicycle to host 10th Brompton World Championship

Kerman & Co advised Prudential RideLondon in relation to its agreement with Brompton Bicycle to host the 10th Brompton World Championship as part of its Grand Prix races in St James’s Park on Saturday 1 August. The Brompton World Championship will take place immediately after the Prudential RideLondon FreeCycle event.
It is the first time that the Brompton World Championship will be take place in London, giving Brompton riders the chance to race on a world-famous circuit that starts on The Mall, takes in Horse Guards Parade and Buckingham Palace before finishing back on The Mall. This unique and hugely enjoyable event takes the form of a Le Mans style start as 575 smartly-dressed competitors from around the world make a mad dash to unfold their bikes before setting off on the 1.3-mile circuit.
Brompton Bikes have been made in London since 1975 and are designed for use in cities, making the Prudential RideLondon Grand Prix route the perfect backdrop to showcase the performance and fun of these unique folding bikes.
