LENI GAS & OIL Plc - Investment
Kerman & Co LLP have acted for Leni Gas & Oil plc ("LGO") in its first investment following its admission to AIM on 16th March 2007. LGO an oil and gas exploration and development company has signed an agreement with Malta Oil Pty. Limited a subsidiary of Mediterranean Oil & Gas PLC to acquire an initial 20% interest in four oil and gas exploration blocks known as Area 4, located within Maltese waters between Libya and Malta, covering an area in excess of 5,000 km2.

Michael Bennett and Joan Yu headed up the Kerman & Co team who worked on the project with the independent directors of LGO. Commenting on the transaction Michael Bennett said "It would not have been possible to deliver this deal in the required timeframe without real teamwork between our lawyers and the client and their other advisors."
