1 August 2007

Kerman and Co LLP have acted in the continuing expansion of Simmons Gainsford LLP by assisting the accountancy practice to acquire the practice interest of Anton Goldstein and at the same time Mr Goldstein’s former colleague, Raj Patel, as a junior member.

Anton Goldstein becomes a consultant to Simmons Gainsford with all other employees and workers engaged in the practice prior to the acquisition, joining Simmons Gainsford LLP on similar terms.

The transaction follows the recent successful completion of the transfer of assets from Simmons Gainsford Services Limited to Simmons Gainsford LLP.

In respect of both transactions the Kerman and Co LLP team was led by Richard Baxter under the supervision of Daniel O ‘Connell, assisted by Cormac Lloyd and Michael Corcoran. Patrick Gilmour of Courts and Co represented Messrs Goldstein and Patel.
