Cyclist Wins 100 Per Cent Damages

A cyclist who was involved in an accident on a roundabout has won his fight for compensation.

Nick Smith was on the roundabout in Peterborough when he was struck from behind by a car. Mr Smith was knocked off his bike and suffered a painful fracture of his clavicle along with soft tissue damage to his chest.

Although the driver of the car initially admitted liability, she subsequently changed her mind and disputed the claim. Later, however, the insurers admitted liability and agreed to pay the damages in full.
