Important update on the ‘job retention scheme’ period
Further to our update earlier this week, in the last few minutes HM Treasury has announced that the coronavirus job retention scheme (the furlough scheme) has been extended from 31 May 2020 to the end of June.
Employers are advised to consider their options and whether there will be a need to extend Furlough arrangements with staff beyond the initial Scheme period.
