James has enviable expertise in the area of construction. His specialist knowledge includes drafting and negotiation of all forms of building and civil engineering contracts, development and funding agreements, professional appointments, warranties and related project documentation. James also advises on all methods of construction procurement including strategic framework and/or partnering strategies.

James was formerly a Partner at Boodle Hatfield London before joining our Commercial Property Team as a consultant. He qualified as a solicitor in 1996. James is a member of the Society of Construction Law and regularly contributes to articles in the construction press and as a speaker at construction law conferences.
