Kerman & Co is committed to being a responsible business and to ensuring that we operate in a socially conscious and an environmentally sustainable manner.
Responsible Business
As a responsible business, we:
People & Inclusion
We recognise that people are different – in ways that we can see, and in ways we can’t. We treat clients and employees alike, fairly and equally – just the way we ourselves expect to be treated. We strive to create a safe and inclusive workplace for all our employees, and to broaden their skills and experience so that they can grow and prosper with us.
Community & Pro Bono
We are committed to supporting the communities where we do business. We regularly collaborate with clients, NGOs and charities to deliver pro bono services. We support a number of charities with fundraising and other activities, we regularly organise fundraising events and all our staff are encouraged to support these. We do not have an exclusive relationship with a particular charity, but have recently raised money for The Sick Children’s Trust, Seeing is Believing, The British Heart Foundation, Children with Cancer and Crisis.
Environmental
At Kerman’s, we try hard to reduce our impact on the environment. For many years now, we have operated (as best we can) as a paperless office – relying on IT to store and file documents. Where we do use paper, we recycle large quantities of it and use recycled materials where appropriate. We also have a follow-me print management system, which helps us to eliminate wastage due to unclaimed printing, and the software actively monitors the environmental impact of all our print devices. All our employees have access to an environmental impact dashboard that displays their personal contribution to the firm’s printing/copying output.
