Coral is a member of the Corporate and Capital Markets team. She advises clients in relation to initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and joint ventures.
Prior to joining Kerman & Co in 2017, Coral practiced in Herbert Smith Freehills in London, Hong Kong and Beijing, and Paul Hastings LLP in Beijing where she worked on various cross-border transactions involving Chinese companies in the mainland China and Hong Kong market. She qualified as a solicitor in 2012.
Coral is named as a recognised M&A lawyer in the 2019 edition of the Legal 500.
Representative experience includes:
Advised Softbank in several of its private transactions in Asia, including its US$600 million Series D investment of KuaiDi Dache, a leading mobile taxi booking app in China; and its $1 billion investment in Coupang, a major e-commerce platform in Korea.
Advised Falcon Edge in its equity investment in several leading Chinese e-commerce companies.
Advised FountainVest Partners in its investment in FangDD.com, one of China’s top online real estate trading platforms.
Advised Beijing Shouhuan Cultural Tourism Investment, a consortium of four state-owned companies, in the establishment of a landmark Universal Studios theme park in Beijing.
Advised China National Bluestar in its $1 billion two-tranche investment-grade bond offering and subsequent perpetual bond offering in HK.
