Coral is a member of the Corporate and Capital Markets team. She advises clients in relation to mergers and acquisitions, private equity and capital markets.

Prior to joining Kerman & Co in 2017, Coral was trained with Herbert Smith Freehills in London, Hong Kong and Beijing, and practised in Paul Hastings Beijing where she worked on various cross-border transactions in the mainland China and Hong Kong market.

Coral qualified as a solicitor in 2012. She holds a degree in law from Peking University and completed both her Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School. She is a native speaker of Mandarin.

Coral is named as a recognised equity capital markets lawyer in the 2021 edition of the Legal 500.

Representative experience includes:

• Advised Zhejiang Silk Road Fund, a private equity fund principally sponsored and managed by Zhejiang United Investment Group, on its equity investment in CMR Surgical Ltd’s US $ 100 million Series B funding round.
• Advised Winkontent AG, the publisher of Monocle Magazine, on investment from Sansiri PCL, a leading Thai property developer.
• Advised pod LLP, a multidisciplinary construction and regeneration consultancy, on the sale of its development consultancy and financial modelling services business to Aquila Services Group plc.
• Advised AIM-quoted InfraStrata plc on its placing to raise £1.5 million.
• Advised AIM-quoted Victoria Oil & Gas plc on its subscription and placing to raise an aggregate of £13.57 million.
