Una advises on a range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, banking, equity investment and other financing. She has considerable cross-border experience having advised on numerous deals with cross-border elements.

In addition, Una has experience of a range of corporate transactions in the natural resources and oil & gas sectors, including company acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures and equity investments. Her experience includes advising in respect of farm-in/out and royalty agreements.

Una qualified as a solicitor in 2005, and she is named as a recognised lawyer for M&A; and Energy and Natural Resources work in the 2021 edition of the Legal 500.

Representative experience includes:

• Lead adviser to UK Oil & Gas Investments PLC on its agreements with Celtique Energie and Magellan Petroleum to acquire a 100% interest in the Weald Basin licence PEDL234.
• Lead adviser to the shareholders of CloserStill (the UK’s fastest growing international media and exhibitions business), on its sale to Inflexion Private Equity, in a deal where the management re-invested in the company.
• Lead adviser to Bestway Group Limited, one of the UK’s largest independent food wholesalers, on the acquisition of Sher Brothers (Cash & Carry) Limited. This acquisition brought the total number of depots trading under the Batleys Scotland umbrella to 8.
• Adviser to the shareholders of conTgo Limited, on the sale to Concur Technologies (UK) Limited, a UK subsidiary of Concur Technologies, a provider of integrated travel and management solutions, headquartered in Bellevue, Washington, USA.
